Hard work definitely pays off as Flin Flon Bomber goaltender Cal Schell is coming off one of the best goalie performances in Bomber history.
Schell who was really never a starter in his career ended up losing a whole season due to Covid, but was determined to make sure his 20 year old season was one to remember.
Schell delivered and won the second most amount of games in the league with 25 to go along with a 2.39 GAA and a .923 SV %.
Schell was also named the Sherwood Division top goalie and MVP.
To cap a great season that included a trip to the Centennial Cup, Schell got a special invite to the Toronto Maple Leafs Development Camp this past weekend and faired really well.
Cal is committed to Oswego State University in the fall.
