This is a notification of my role as Commissioner of the Saskatchewan Jr Hockey league (SJHL).

 

Effective May 31st 2022, I will be stepping down from the position of Commissioner of the SJHL. I will not be back to complete the contract that is currently in place and set to expire on May 31st 2023. I will continue to fulfil my duties as the Commissioner of the SJHL as I have for the past 10 plus years. There have been many factors that have gone into my final decision.

 

This notice to the Board of Governors that I will cease being the commissioner on May 31st 2022, provides the Board of Governors 4 months to conduct a thorough hiring process in their bid to find the next commissioner.
