The Norman Northstars have picked up their first victory of the season as they went into Winnipeg and beat the Bruins on Friday 5 to 4 in OT.

 

Brady Krentz from Thompson had a four point night including the OT winner.

 

The Bruins rebounded on Saturday winning 6 to 2, with Flin Flon's Gage Gogal picking up an assist.

 

Sunday, the Northstars opened up a 3 to 0 lead on Eastman but couldn't hold on and lost 6 to 4. Magnus Pearson opened up the scoring.

 

Norman has got the monkey off their back with their first win and will try for a w on home ice this weekend as they will welcome the 2-3-1 Parkland Rangers to Thompson.

 

Games are 7:30 on Saturday and 1:30 on Sunday at the CA Nesbitt Arena.
