Kodiaks Forced To Forfeit Game

The Creighton Kodiaks 6 man football team has taken anothe dagger in trying to get back on the field to defend their 2019 trophy.

Last season was totally wiped out due to Covid and now they have lost their first two games of this season.

They were supposed to open up the season last week in Sandy Bay, but Sandy Bay was forced to drop out of the league and now the Kodiaks have been told they will have to forfeit their home opener tomorrow.

There has been a rise in Covid cases in the area so Creighton school has decided to forfeit the game to SMVS out of Laronge and the Kodiaks will start the season 0 and 1.

The Kodiak players will keep working hard in practise and hope to finally get on the field next week in Ahtakakoop.
