It was exactly one week ago today that the SJHL, officially called off their season due to Covid 19.

 

This was a bitter pill to swallow especially for all the 20 year old's in the league who won't get another opportunity to play another junior game.

 

The Bombers will graduate eight 20 year olds including Easton and Chase Haygarth, Reid Robertson, Zach Huber,Billy Klymchuk, Matt Flodell, Hayden Clayton and Ryder Richmond.

 

We did catch up with Head Coach and GM, Mike Reagan last week and he talked about how the shut down would affect the organization and the different steps the league was taking in returning to playing.

 

I wanted to get the player's response , so I reached out to team captain and three year veteran Matt Flodell to find out how the players were feeling.

 

I also wanted to give the player's an opportunity for some closure on what has been a very difficult year.
