The Jimmy Jackfish Fishing Derby wrapped up this past weekend with 116 people from all over the north  taking part.

 

This was the first time they ever did an event virtually and it was well received. There were a lot of big fish caught in all the categories.

 

They are hoping to return to an in person derby once again next year.

 

Congratulations to Flin Flon's Corey Grant and Colin Hynes on catching the two biggest fish in the Burbot event.

 

Matt Hagborg and Cliff Salisbury from the Pas caught the two biggest fish in the Jackfish category with Cranberry's Gord Fidierchuk finishing third.

 

In the Walleye event, the two biggest fish were caught by Matt Paul and Devin Salisbury from the Pas.
