Manitoba Midget Triple A League Will Not Return

The Norman Northstars did manage to get in 7 games before play was suspended in early November for the Manitoba Midget Triple A League due to Covid.

The ice is out at the CA. Nesbitt Arena and teams will not be returning to finish out the 2020 and 2021 season.

Teams were hoping for some type of return to finish out the year but  with all the restrictions and remaining health concerns , league officials decided to cancel the rest of the season.

The league said in a press release that teams could get back on the ice and practise but games would not be permitted.

Levi Taylor,  the league commissioner thanked everyone for their patience and understanding and looks forward to seeing everyone back  at the rink in the fall.
