Week One of the Koop Geotechnical Ski Series is in the books. It was a very good start to the season with 53 people taking part.

 

The ladies made up 35 entries and men the other 18.

 

Congratulations to Noel Lindsay who won a $25.00 gift certificate from the Orange Toad and congratulations to Corey Dewhirst who won a $25.00 gift certificate from Mugsy's.

 

Times for the first week ranged from 16:37 to 40:00 for the ladies and 11:12 to 40:00 for the men.

 

Week two is under way with the open technique (skate or classic) on the 4.2 km Classic Trail. This is one of the most popular trails, with a few small hills to be aware of your first time out.
