Blizzard Add WHL Experience

The OCN Blizzard got a big shot in the arm as the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL have reassigned Evan Herman and Justin Nachbaur to the Blizzard til December the 20th.

Both these players are from Northern Manitoba with Herman right from the Pas and Nachbaur from Cross Lake.

Herman has already suited up for a game and picked a goal in a loss to the Dauphin Kings last weekend.

Herman suited up for 59 games for the Raiders last season and picked up 22 points including 9 goals. He also won best conditioned Raider for his rookie season.

Nachbaur is entering his 20 year old season and played with the Blizzard as a 16 year old where he picked up 31 points in 55 games.

In three seasons with the Raiders he has 74 points and has been tremendous in the locker room.

Head Coach and GM of the Blizzard, Billy Keane is excited for what these players will bring to his program. " The addition of these players will elevate our skill level, pace and performance levels and all the guys around them will get better and that is our goal."

Keane also mentioned that the Blizzard will  be welcoming back Bryden Sinclair, a 19 year old defenseman who was recently with the Maryland Black Bears of the NAHL.

With Covid, Sinclair wants to remain in Canada.

All these players are expected to be in the Blizzard lineup this weekend against Dauphin.
