Kodiaks Look Forward To Season

If the numbers continue to drop for Covid 19, we very well could see High school football back in Saskatchewan for September.

Head Coach of the Creighton Kodiaks, Ryan Karakochuk says they had a conference call with the other teams in the Northern Saskatchewan Football League and have put their schedule together for the up coming season.

If everything go's according to plan the Kodiaks would start their season on Wednesday September the 3rd in Ahtahkakoop, who will be the new team in the Kodiaks conference.

They will replace Pinehouse, who finished last in the standings and will drop down a level.

Creighton would play their home opener on Wednesday September the 10th against Sandy Bay.

Football fields will open in Saskatchewan on Monday, and now the Kodiaks and the other teams across the province will have to follow the guidelines from the govenment,  and local municipalities on the different steps in resuming their programs.

Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk will be in studio next Tuesday at 3:30 to talk about the up coming season and the status of their league, here on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com.
