The Norman Northstars picked up their 5th win of the season and second on the road as they knocked off Parkland in Swan River yesterday 3-2 in OT.

 

Flin Flon's Tristan Galarneau scored the winner 1:31 into the extra frame for his third point on the road trip. He had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss to Parkland the day before. Norman began the trip with a 5-3 loss on Friday against Southwest.

 

The Northstars continue to battle and have been a much better team the last month or so and will finish up this weekend against Pembina Valley before their Christmas break.
