The Norman Northstars hosted the Southwest Cougars in a pair of games in Thompson this past weekend.

 

Norman played one of the better teams in the Manitoba Midget AAA League very well.

 

On Saturday the Cougars came from behind to pull out a 6-4 win. Sunday the Cougars won 4-3.

 

Flin Flon's Tristan Galarneau had a goal and an assist and Jeremy Dutcawich stopped 33 out of 37 shots.

 

Norman sees their record fall to: 1-14-0-1 and hit the road for a 3 game road trip starting this Friday against Central Plains.
