Mayor George Fontaine has announced he will be seeking re-election in October.  Fontaine says there are still things he and Council have to complete and more they need to do yet.  He says there’s a lot of recreational issues that he thinks are important as well as financial issues.  He adds they’ve made a start and he thinks they’re on the right track.  He says he thinks they’ve got a good team and he thinks a good number of that team is going to run again if he’s correct in his assumptions so he thinks there’s still advancement to be made.

Fontaine served a four year term on City Council before his four year term as Mayor.
