You can have a look at banned books this week

The Flin Flon Public Library is holding a Celebrate Freedom to Read Week this week.  Administrator Cindy McLean says they have numerous banned or challenged books on display.  She says what it does is encourage Canadians to think about reaffirming their commitment to intellectual freedom which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights, so they will be serving coffee and encourage the public to come in and have a peek.  She adds some of the books will be very surprising like Where the Wild Things Are, Huckleberry Finn, Catcher in the Rye and the Great Gatsby.

The Freedom to Read display will be available at the Library all this week.
