The Annual Lieutenant Governor and Achievement awards recognized students at Creighton Community School today

Lieutenant Governor Vaughan Solomen Schofield presented  the “ Lieutenant Governor’s award of Excellence” to grade 12 student Daniel Ratt. Daniel is an excellent student with a 80 % average and a 97% for attendance. Daniel is also involved in many forms of physical activity, the drama program and the Gold Eagle Program that targets aboriginal youth between 16 and 25 who are interested in a career in the military.


Principal Stacy Lair says” This is a great honor for the school, and it is great to see their students get recognized for all their hard work. She also says it gives their school great pride having these dignitaries visit and honor these students in Northern Saskatchewan. It really means a lot to celebrate these great accomplishments.”


The Northen Student Achievement Awards were presented to: Magann Sutherland, Jeremy Tait, Brady Farkus and Aline Naselquist for grade 7. Bradley Fox grade 8, Alyshia Soshycki , Tyler Williamson grade 9 and Marley Williamson for grade 12.
