The PDAC Mining Conference took place in Toronto at the beginning of March and two representatives from Flin Flon City Council took in the meetings including Heather Richardson and Bill Hanson.

Heather Richardson tells us they had a chance to meet with many investors and Ministers and share information on  all the resources and opportunities that the North has to offer. " Some of our primary goals in attending PDAC is to talk to investors. We want to gather information and support our local industries or those trying to get off the ground,  including Foran, Callinex and Manova just to name a few. We want to try to intice people to visit, show interest or move to the Flin Flon area. We also had a chance to meet with the Manitoba Minister of Mining, Minister Moses and talk with him. Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew was there,  as well and other elected officials and we want to keep the lines  of communication open."

Richardson also mentioned they will continue to meet up with investors and make sure they continue to have a presence in the mining sector and continue to sell Flin Flon right across the country.
