In total, officers seized five illegal firearms, 12 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of methamphetamine, ammunition and a sum of cash (see photo).  Five people were arrested, charged and remanded into custody as a result of investigations over the weekend in Pelican Narrows.

 

  Officers later located and arrested 28-year-old Kelly Ballatyne from Pelican Narrows, who was then charged with multiple offenses including  one count of weapons trafficking.

 

24-year-old Sunshine Ballantyne from Pelican Narrows, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses including  one count of possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

 

 Officers  located and arrested 23-year-old Drea Mccallum from Pelican Narrows, who was charged with multiple offenses including one count of possession of restricted firearm,  and one count of possession of weapon for dangerous use. 

 

Officers  also located and seized a stolen firearm during a search for a wanted individual at a residence. The individual cannot be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
