With the weather starting to cool off the cold weather shelter is once again open at the Flin Flon Friendship Centre. If you require a warm place to stay during these cold nights Amanda Fleury the Home Project Co-ordinator explains how you can access the service.

" The cold weather shelter will be open the next couple of nights, you just have to come to the Friendship Centre and our doors open at 10pm. We will have people here waiting and we will have hot soup, beverages and something to snack on. Just come in  if you want to spend the night as we will be here til 7 in the morning. If you just want a place to come hang out and have something to eat, you are welcome to do that as well."

If you would like to help out, they are still taking donations for any winter clothing to keep people warm including blankets, winter coats and touques and mitts which they have run out of. You can drop off items at the Friendship Centre front door or call 204-687-8855 to arrange pick up.
