The 45th annual Denare Beach Winter Festival will kick off later today with three action packed days full of all kinds of family activities.
"We'll start off with the Busher supper at five o'clock, the doors open at 4:30, there'll be penny parade, crib tournament tonight, kids events, pizza shoot and turkey curling and trap setting. Saturday, It'll be the pancake breakfast, fishing derby bingo and kids events. Again, the dog sled rides will be canceled and Sunday, the snow drags will be canceled too because of not enough snow."
You won’t need a festival button to attend the Mushers Supper tonight but you will need a button to attend the rest of the events and you can pick them up at the Denareplex for $3.00. You can see all the weekend’s events on the Village Of Denare Beach Facebook page.
