Preparations continue for the Bust The Winter Blues Festival which is now less than two weeks away and Flin Flon Rec Director Cait Bailey is looking forward to working with lots of great organizations in both Flin Flon and Creighton.
" We are so excited to have the soccer club , and groups and volunteers that take a lot of time doing snowshoeing and we hope we have enough snow for them. That seems to be the big question, if we will have enough snow. We have wonderful partners that are waiting in the wings to see what that looks like. That includes the Snowmobile Club, the Ski Club, Friendship Centre, all the Rec Departments with lots of activities happening all over."
The festival will kick off on Friday March the 1st which will begin with Senior activities at the Flin Flon Community Hall, the Flin Flon Kinette Trivia night and the Bomber game against Estevan. The full schedule can be seen on the City Of Flin Flon and Town Of Creighton facebook pages.
