The 45^th annual Denare Beach Winter Festival is set to go the weekend of February the 23^rd,24^th and 25^th. Rec Director Mel Durette says due to some generous sponsors and dedicated volunteers they look forward to lots of entertaining events for the whole family.

" We will start off on Friday with the Mushers Supper that we always have, there will also be a penny parade, crib tournament, turkey curling, trap setting for kids and lots of other activities and games. On Saturday we will start off with the pancake breakfast, family fishing derby and bingo with more kids games again. There will also be a boot hockey tournament and hopefully the snow drags on Sunday."

You can attend all the events by purchasing a $3.00 festival button at the Village office, Monday through Friday 9 to 4:30. A list of all the events can be seen on the Denare Beach Rec facebook page.
