Johnny's Holding Fundraiser For Werbicki Trucking Bombers This Weekend

If you are looking to blow off a little steam and help raise some money for a local organization you can make your way to Johnny’s Social Club this Saturday for some entertaining live music.

A bunch of local artists will be performing to raise money for the Werbicki Trucking Bantam Bombers  including Rock- Kut, No Name Band, CC Trubiak, Almost Sisters, Lane Laderoute, Kristen Imrie and Kim Jones will all be performing. One of the organizers Stacie Grenier gives us the inspiration behind this event.

" The idea really came from my dad,  Holly Freeborn who is really involved with Johnny's quite a bit as he is involved with a lot of shows there. He came to me with this idea to see if there are any local artists who would like to donate their time and perform,  and we could sell some tickets and raise some money. A few of our players have family members who play in bands and they offered to perform. Tony Pegg has a grand son on the team, CC Trubiak has a nephew and my dad has a grand son, and that is how it came to be."

Tickets are available at the Orange Toad for $30.00 and are going fast. Grenier says they will use the proceeds to pay for up coming tournaments.
