As we get set for Christmas festivities the next few days, the Flin Flon Recycling Centre’s Deb Odegaard reminds us what Christmas items can’t be recycled.
" The typical types of things we receive at Christmas time that we can't recycle are gift wrap, bows and ribbons, styrofoam packaging, any plastic bags or plastic wrap. We will recycle regular packaging like cardbord, boxboards, plastic drink containers and the regular things that are on our website at flinflonrecycling.org."
The Recycling Centre will only be closed Christmas and New Years day and open the rest of the days through the holidays. The Flin Flon Landfill be closed Christmas , Boxing and New Years Day and will close at 2pm on Christmas and New Years Eve.
