Once again seniors in Flin Flon and area will have a chance to tour the Christmas lights in the community with the Christmas Lights Tour which will take place on Wednesday December the 13th starting at 6:30.
This is being organized by the Inner Wheel and Betty Smith encourages seniors to book a seat as soon as possible.
" It is open to all seniors in Flin Flon and Creighton and it is put on by the Inner Wheel, Rotary and Hudbay. What we do is we take names and then we are in contact letting people know to be at City Hall at 6pm on December the 13th. We have school busses, the little white one from the Flin Flon School Division and they will take the seniors on a bus tour to see all the lights. We have done this for a number of years and the seniors really seem to like it."
When the bus tour is over there is a get together at City Hall with hot chocolate, goodies and the singing of Christmas carols. Santa will also make an appearance. If you would like to be included in the tour you need to book a seat by calling Fran at 204-687-0057 or Betty at 204-687-3298.
