Among the highlights was the Northern Communities Race Relations with RBC has approved the application for missing funds and will send the money to the current account which is exciting news.
They had some great guest speakers including Stephanie Van Hollander and Susan Bater from the Entrepreneurs With Disabilities program . They touched on the business builders programs offered in conjunction with CF offices in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Becky Cianflone from Greenstone also spoke about some of the services that they offer and the events that they have coming up including Infusion, Master Your Disaster and Build A Better Non Profit.
The Main Street Committee is also applying for a grant to put on the Christmas Parade again and the group has agreed to set the third Tuesday of each month for future meetings.
November the 21st is the proposed date for their AGM.
