This past Saturday , just after 11:00pm, officers from Flin Flon RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Lake Trout Bay in Cranberry Portage.

Officers attended the collision and located the victim, a 57-year-old male, underneath a vehicle. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, and its passengers, remained on scene and cooperated with police.

The investigation has determined the male had been lying on the road, in a poorly illuminated area, prior to the collision.

Flin Flon RCMP, with assistance from an RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, continue to investigate
