If you are looking for a special look at how special effects were done with classic movies you may be interested in making your way to the Hapnot Theatre on Friday.

The Program Convener Colin Davis has more:  " So this Friday at the Hapnot Theatre we are very happy to present Darby O'Gill and the Little People. This is a fun film in it's own right , but before viewing the film we are going to be taking a special look at how they came up with their special effects. If you are interested in special effects and how they are made, you won't want to miss this movie from 1959 long before cgi. They used a technology that is largely forgotten today but it was innovative and it will be interesting to see how it was done."

Doors will open up at 7 with the movie starting at 7:30. Snacks and drinks will be available and the show is free.
