For the past  three weeks, various groups around the community have hosted Culture Day activities and Crystal Kolt says Flin Flon can hold their heads high once again.

" Absolutely, Culture Days was just chalked full of three weeks of activities, workshops, speaking engagements and we had Tomson Highway come up which was wonderful. We had some extra perks because of our sponsorship with Calm Air where we ended up having a raffle and a scavenger hunt. We also had support from Hudbay and the province and all the people and business's in the community who gave their support."

There were a total 0f 50 events that took place  this year which wrapped up this past weekend with events at the schools, the art auction at the Norva Centre, Dave Koop sharing his Northwest Territories adventure at Johnny’s and Tomson Highway performing at the Flin Flon Community Hall.

Crystal would like to thank all the groups and individuals who hosted the events, all the volunteers, the people that came out and attended the events, the sponsors and the National and Provincial headquarters who helped them put on the events.
