Lindsay Re-Elected And Outlines His Plan Moving Forward

The NDP will be taking over the legislature after winning a majority government in Tuesday’s provincial election. Once again Tom Lindsay  won the Flin Flon riding and  will be representing our area for the next four years. Lindsay stopped by 102.9 CFAR and talked about his first order of business now that the NDP are in power.

" Well first off I have to go down and get sworn in and make sure I am there when we pick Cabinet Posts, try and make sure I get one of those posts to represent the North. Going forward it will make sure our voice is heard as the same in the past. We need to make sure that we get the things we need like bringing back birthing services like we promised."

Lindsay also mentioned that they will have to address some border health issues that are happening right now and expects to get to work in November with some new bills which are expected to come forward in the first sitting.

If you would like to get a hold of Tom you can contact him at his office on Flin Flon’s Main Street at 204-687-3246.
