For the 5th time this past summer 102.9 CFAR along with local sponsors were able to collect money to donate to a local cause through the contest 100 Grand In Your Hand.
CFAR Manager Dianne Russell says the contest has really been catching on.
" I am absolutely looking forward to it, this was our 5th annual and it's gone well every year and people are getting more and more excited about it and through it we are able to raise more money. We were able to give away $2400.00 from both Flin Flon and The Pas to support senior and elder recreation programming and we are very excited about that."
Russell also commented that they are looking forward to the contest returning for the summer of 2024.
