There is still about a month to head out to see the animals at the Joe Brain Petting Zoo on Flin Flon’s Green street. Rec programmer Kelsey Anderson says the animals are very friendly and would love to see you.
" Our zoo is open every day 11 to 7 weather permitting. We have lots of animals to come see including our little pig named Pettle. If you talk sweet to her she will roll over and let you rub her belly. Our three cows are always a hit named Sugar, Spice and Briscuit. You have to be careful because they are known to give kisses once in a while. If you take a knee down at the zoo a goat is almost guaranteed to come jump on your back. They are very friendly and affectionite, so if you need your animal love come by the Joe Brain Petting Zoo."
The zoo will stay open til the end of August and is open daily 11 to 7 weather permitting. You can book the zoo for a birthday party or special gathering. There is a $2.00 fee to visit the zoo and you can purchase a pass for the rest of the summer for $50.00
