The Manitoba Chamber Of Commerce want to give you the opportunity to hear from Manitoba’s next premier with an election expected to be called in the fall.
You will have a chance to join the business community on September the 13th and 19th to hear from Premier Heather Stefanson and the leader of the opposition, Wab Kinew. Manitoba Chamber President Chuck Davidson says this will be a great way to hear directly from the leaders on all the important issues.
" I think it is the worse kept secret in Manitoba right now that we will be going to the polls on October the 3rd. As part of that process, the Manitoba Chamber Of Commerce has done this in the past, we want to provide an opportunity for the two candidates who could be the next Premier to have a venue to talk about their platform. What we are doing with that , we will be inviting the PC leader and current Premier Heather Stefanson to deliver a key note address and question and Answer session on September the 13th. On September the 19th, Wab Kinew the leader of the NDP and leader of the official opposition will be doing likewise."
This will not be a debate format and everybody will get a chance to ask questions. There will be a cost to attend these meetings and you can sign up at www.jointhechamber.ca.
