The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation Creighton Branch will be holding a gun safety program Saturday afternoon.  The group’s Alex MGilvery explains the idea is to introduce kids to shooting with a 22 rifle and to teach them some basic safety.  He says they teach them how to handle a gun safely and make sure they are always supervised by an adult. But he adds they’re also there to make sure they have lots of fun and can hit the target they are aiming at.

It will run from 1 to 4 Saturday at the Creighton range west of Creighton on the Hanson Lake road.
