Manitoba public health reported 919 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 33.1 percent.  Of the new cases 596 are in Winnipeg with lower numbers in other regions including 79 in Northern health where 2318 cases are active with 37 of them in the Flin Flon, Snow Lake, Cranberry Portage, Sherridon district.  Of the total 112,346 confirmed cases 41,708 are active, 69,160 people have recovered and 631 are in hospital with 50 in intensive care. An outbreak has been declared at the Gillam hospital.

Saskatchewan health reported 1223 new cases bringing the seven day average of new cases to 1240.  Of the total 103,901 confirmed cases 11,894 are active, 91,046 people have recovered and 199 are in hospital.  Far Northeast Two reports five new cases with 26 reported to be active.
