COVID Related Numbers Continue to go Up In Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan health reported 54 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of new cases to 71. Of the new cases Far North East Two reported zero leaving the total of active cases at 24.  Of the total 50, 614 reported cases 650 are considered active, 49,831 people have recovered and 55 are in hospital.

With the number of cases rising again in Saskatchewan the Ministry of Health is reporting those new cases and serious outcomes from those cases are overwhelmingly among unvaccinated people.  More than 90 percent of all new cases and hospitalizations in July were unvaccinated or partially vaccinated people and nearly 100 percent of deaths were unvaccinated.
