The Joe Brain Petting Zoo has opened for their 24th season. Recreation Programmer Kelcey Andersen says they have a great variety of animals again this year. She says they have four baby sheep, a mama sheep, two cows again this year along with quite a bit of chickens and a rooster, they’re going to be doing their egg wars again this year and they’re super excited about that and as well they have some bunnies, they’re happy to get a turtle soon and pigs.
Andersen adds the Zoo located on Green Street is open daily from 11 to 7. To allow physical distancing only one group of five will be allowed in the yard at one time for a 15 minute time period.
