Funding from the Investing in Canada plan will support 26 infrastructure projects in Saskatchewan.  The government of Canada is investing more than 21 million dollars in these projects with the Saskatchewan government providing over 12 million and recipients of the funding will provide more than 12 million.

Two projects are being funded in this area.  The City of Flin Flon Safe Playground Upgrade will receive just under 32 thousand dollars in federal funding, just over 26 thousand in provincial funding and will provide just over 21 thousand from municipal funding for various upgrades to the South Hudson park including replacement of the playground equipment and rehabilitation of the outdoor rink.  The Northern Village of Denare Beach Community Hockey Bunk Revitalization Project will receive 31 thousand in federal funding, just under 26 thousand in provincial funding and will provide just over 20 thousand from the Village for expansion of the outdoor ice surface beside the Denareplex to create a skating ring around the main skating surface that will allow for both hockey and skating simultaneously as well as replacing boards, a roof and lighting.
