No New Case of COVID-19 Have Again Been Reported in Manitoba While There are Two Additional Deaths in Saskatchewan.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin announced the latest COVID-19 number this afternoon.  He reports there’s no new cases so the total number of cases remains at 292, there are no cases in hospital in hospital or ICU, 271 individuals are listed as recovered and there are 14 active cases.

             

With phase two of the province’s re-opening program beginning Monday Roussin reminds you it is vital that you continue to practice physical distancing and stay home when you are sick.

 

 

Saskatchewan reports two residents from the Far North who tested positive for COVID-19 have died.  One is an individual in their 80s while the other is in their 60s bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 10.  Three new cases have been reported bringing the provincial total to 637, 68 are reported active 10 more people have recovered bringing the total to 559 and there are four people in hospital with three in intensive care. Public Health notes with the warmer weather  it can be tempting to hold a big family gathering but Saskatchewan residents are advised the public health order limiting both public and private gatherings to no more than ten people remains in force.
