The Saskatchewan Health Authority has one confirmed COVID-19 case of a staff member at the Meadow Lake Hospital 205 kilometers northwest of Prince Albert.  This case was linked to community transmission and to date no patients have presented with symptoms of COVID-19. The staff member and close contacts are in self-isolation and additional contact tracing is underway.

Saskatchewan reported 25 new confirmed cases today bringing the provincial total to 512.  24 of the new cases are in the Far North with 22 being in La Loche.  Of the total reported cases 194 are considered active, two more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 312. There are currently 13 people in hospital with four in intensive care.
