The Far North in Saskatchewan Has Shown Another Jump in COVID-19 Cases.

Saskatchewan reports 34 new confirmed COVID-19 cases bringing the provincial total to 467.  29 of the new cases are in the Far North, La Loche and surrounding area bringing its reported total to 110 cases.  Of the total cases 154 are considered active, 2 more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 307.  There are currently 11 people in hospital four in intensive care.

             

The Saskatchewan Health Authority reminds all Saskatchewan residents that if you feel unwell and think you require any medical care, don’t wait. Accessing medical care in the midst of COVID-19 is safe whether you visit your local walk-in clinic, family physician or emergency department.  For urgent and emergeny medical concerns such as chest pain, signs of stroke, broken bones, shortness of breath or thoughts of self-harm, go to a hospital emergency department or call 911.
