Two New Cases of COVID-19 Were Reported in Manitoba over the Weekend.

Manitoba Public Health officials reported one new case of COVID-19 on Saturday and one today. That brings the total number of lab confirmed positive and probable cases in the province to 281.  Five individuals are in hospital with none in intensive care, there are 38 active cases and 237 individuals have recovered with the number of deaths due to COVID-19 remaining at six.

              Restoring Services Together, Manitoba’s pandemic and economic roadmap for recovery is available at www.manitoba.ca/restoringsafeservices.  Public Health Officials note while some gradual lifting of restrictions has begun, significant work to limit the spread of COVID-19 must continue.  They advise you to remain within or close to your home communities including limiting travel even within Manitoba and neighboring communities to essential trips only.
