The Northern Health Region announced yesterday a screening and testing site for COVID-19 has opened in the auditorium of the Flin Flon Community Hall Monday to Friday from 9 to 4.  Manitoba Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin reminds you these sites require a referral.  He says they want to ensure that the right people are getting tested, if you do not have symptoms of COVID-19 like a cough, fever, respiratory symptoms you do not need to be tested.  He adds health care practitioner do not test people who do not have symptoms. He notes returning international travelers with reparatory symptoms, contact of known cases with respiratory symptoms they absolutely want these tested.
