The Norva Center is hosting their annual artists retreat next week The group’s Karen Clark says they invited local artists as well as others to share ideas and experience the beauty of the north. She says they have 28 artists coming from both locally and regionally from Saskatchewan and Manitoba and they’re coming to the Denareplex in Denare Beach to work on their art. She explains it’s a non-instructional retreat and that means people come and work on whatever it is they’ve been working on in the company of like minded people and a lot of sharing occurs and they’ve found it’s a great model for learning about new things.
Clark adds there will be a public display and sale of some to the work done during the week and other works by the artists on Saturday, July 22nd from 2 to 5 at the Denareplex.
