On December 30^th The Pas RCMP executed a controlled drugs and substances act search warrant at a residence in Opaskwayak Cree Nation.  During the search police seized more than one kilogram of marihuana and more than 15 thousand dollars in Canadian currency.  A 34 year old man from OCN was arrested and later released to appear in court in The Pas on March 3^rd.  He is charged with possessing marihuana for the purpose of trafficking and possessing the proceeds of crime.  A 27 year old woman from OCN was also arrested in connection to the investigation but was later released without charges.
