Concerns About Services are Being Discussed in Creighton

Representatives of about a dozen groups and concerned families frustrated by the lack of services in Creighton held a meeting last week.  Creighton School Principal Stacy Lair says they’re working as a group to highlight and overcome some of the barriers of provincial border lines and for folks who live on reserves federal border lines to access services for people with intellectual disabilities so they can have the services and care in the north and they don’t have to leave the north, they can have services in the community.

Another meeting will be held in a couple of weeks.  If you’re interested or have questions you can contact the Inter-agency Coordinator for Creighton Sheri Campbell at 306-688-2203.
