Congratulations to the Senior Hapnot Queens on winning the Zone Basketball championship on the weekend in OCN.

 

The Queens went undefeated with round robin wins over MBCI, Cranberry, OCN and Norway House.

 

That would put them in the final against MBCI, who they beat in a close game 50 to 45. This is the third straight Senior Basketball Zone for the Girls.

 

The Queens are off to represent the North in Provincials in Somerset the weekend of March the 14th and 16th.

 

The Senior Kings hosted Zones and they went 1-1 in the round robin beating Norway House and losing to the Pas. They would end up losing in the semi-final to the Pas in a heartbreaker 70 to 68. Frontier out of Cranberry went on to win the boy's zone handilly beating the Pas 103 to 68.

 

Cranberry will represent the boy's at Provincials on March the 14th to the 16th in Russell.
