The PBCN Selects travelled down to Winnipeg for the KJHL Showcase this past weekend and went 1-1.

 

On Friday the Selects pounded the OCN Storm 9 to 1 with Cranberry's Harlan Jacobson picking up three points including two goals. Jacobson now has 20 on the season.

 

Flin Flon's Paxton Moore  stopped 31 out of 32 shots to improve to 9 and 3 on the year with a sparkling .921 save %.

 

On Saturday the Selects squared off with the top team in the league and defending champs out of Peguis.

 

The Juniors  handed the Selects their first loss of 2024 with a 5 to 2 victory.

 

Owen Angooteaulk and Pavlo Kobikov scored the PBCN goals while Ethan Fechter got the start in goal and allowed 4 goals on 26 shots.

 

The Selects sit second overall with a very respectable 18 and 7 record and will be in action this wednesday against the Cross Lake Islanders 7:30 at the Whitney Forum.
