The PBCN Selects picked up their 5th straight win in 2024 with another convincing win over the OCN Storm.

 

The Selects took a 3 to 1 lead after one and never looked back picking up the 8 to 3 victory. Pavlo Kobikov took over right where he left off after the weekend with another three  goals to give him 15 on the season.

 

Dion Fontaine also scored a pair with Harland Jacobson, Terence Pilakipsi and Laryn chaboyer rounding out the scoring.

 

Ethan Fechter was back between the pipes and made 24 saves on 27 shots to pick up his 6th win of the year.

 

It is a big two points for the Selects who improve to 17-6 on the season and are now second overall, leap frogging the NCN Flames by one point. Both teams have played 23 games.

 

The Selects will now travel to Winnipeg for the Keystone Junior B Showcase this weekend.

 

PBCN will face the Storm on Friday, and Peguis on Saturday. The game on Saturday is a big one as Peguis leads the Selects by 2 points for first overall.
