12 rinks from right across Manitoba competed in the Golden Gals Provincial curling play-downs in Virden once again this past weekend.

 

Flin Flon was represented by two rinks including the defending champions Lorna Rice who got an automatic entry ,  which allowed Flin Flon to send an additional team  the Debbie McNeill rink.

 

Rice went 2-1 in the round robin before losing to the eventual champion Lori Pellisier out of East ST Paul in the playoff round.

 

McNeill went 0-3 and did not qualify for the playoff round.

 

The Lorna Rice rink once again included Denise Davis, Edna Smith and Dela Chilson.

 

The Debbie McNeil rink included Sandra Chatfield, Yvonne Davis and Shirley Miller.
