Storm Double The Selects 6 to 3

It was a showdown for third place last night in the KJHL.

 

The OCN Storm made their way to the Whitney Forum for the first time this season and picked up the  6 to 3 win.

 

Drew Peters had the hot hand as he picked up the hat-trick to give him 24 on the season. Peters is second in overall scoring with a staggering 39 points in 9 games.

 

Micah Emiktowt had a pair of goals for the Selects with Harland Jacobson scoring his third in as many games.

 

The Storm fired 51 shots on Paxton Moore while the Selects hit the net 33 times.

 

With the Win, the Storm improve to 7-2 and are now tied with the NCN Flames for second overall. PBCN falls to 6-4 and sit fourth overall, just 2 points behind the Storm and Flames.

 

 

The Selects hit the road for their next game as they travel to Wayway to face the Wild on Sunday afternoon. The Wild have yet to win a game this year and sit at 0-9-0-1 and actually fired their coach yesterday.

 

Game time is 1:30.
